Bouncing Cap Stop Motion Animation
So I had a lot of problems with this one. Still using the worlds worst camera, I did many takes with many ideas, including slamming my hand down on the table to try to make it look like the cap pops off the paper and does a nice revolving parabolic arc, but I broke my tripod, and ran all my batteries out of power. So I took my camera apart and Jerry-rigged it to a potato based power source which didn't work either. But luckily my batteries are rechargeable, so after a bit of time they recharged (amazing I know!). So I sat on this one for a bit, and decided to simplify it. I planned out my key frames, and tried taking the shots from as many different angles as possible, mainly to try to keep the camera steady since I didn't have a tripod, which didn't work at all. So I tried tieing it down to objects and keeping the string taught and ended up with a steadier shot, but my angles were all over the place. Ultimately I kept my camera tied down and pressed it against my wall so it couldn't budge to much, which was a really painful process but it gave me much steadier shots. So again with my key frames planned out, I started re-shooting the shots and eye-balled the in betweens for the slow in and slow outs. If my equipment was better and I would have liked to do something more complex, like the idea listed and do some roto-painting, but maybe on the next stop motion project.

Not bad considering all the turmoil.
