About me: My name is Brian Stanley.  I'm a senior level student here at SJSU in the Animation/Illustration program.  I transfered to SJSU from Sierra College in Rocklin, California.  My goal is to be a concept artist for movies or video games.  At some point I'd like to own my own business, but like everyone, I have to start somewhere.  I didn't originally transfer to SJSU for the AI program.  When I started going to Sierra after the mortgage company that I worked for went out of business, I wanted to major in business and get back to work.  I decided to take a color class on the side (Sierra College didn't have a particularly well designed art program to start in) and ended up deciding to go for it.  The instructors has recamended Long Beach first and then San Jose.  But unfortunatly Long Beach wouldn't take my application since they had closed applications a day or so before I started putting in applications, but San Jose did.  So here I am and loving it.  I honestly don't think I could have landed in a better place.
